I am newly a resident in indiana, coming from the northeast, and Runcible's biscuits and gravy are one of the best parts about living here. Can't get these where I'm from!

Loved this meal! The pancake was huge and fluffy. Be careful with the syrup because it fills the entire plate and the syrup needed to be controlled. The eggs were scrambled very well, the toast was crisp but a touch dark on a few edges. The potatoes were a touch greasy but the toast and pancake soaked that up well. What I loved most about this item is that you pick how almost everything is done and which parts of the meal you receive. That's important to me.

This place is an absolute gem! I've lived here since April but f 1998. This is the first place my grandmother took my family too and it's has remained my absolute favorite restaurant in Bloomington! I've raised three of my own children on the Spoon. The staff and owner are incredibly kind and friendly. Their food is super in quality and taste! I truly love this place. I love bring friends and family in from out of town to try the Spoon and every time, they are hooked on my little gem.

This plate will leave you feeling like your Mom came in town and made you a nutritious dinner to make up for all the crap you've been eating! The veggies are sautéed nicely and there's a good variety. Decently salted but not too much. Then the beans and rice round it all out with some fiber. Add hot sauce and it's set. I'm not vegan but this has become a go to lunch when I need a simple filling and nutritious meal.

We were celebrating my mom's 88th birthday with a party of 5. Everyone enjoyed their food throughly. I highly recommend the spoon and will be going back again soon!

The french toast tastes just like my mom's! It is utterly delicious. The edges are perfectly crispy, and it has just the right amount of egg to get the perfect texture in the center.

If you love bennie's you'll love this dish, the flavors melt in your mouth and it's truly great! The atmosphere is also beautiful and I paired my food with an iced chai which was also amazing!

Surprisingly good burger! Doesn't need cheese, has a great flavor and is juicy. Comes with potatoes but I like to also add a side salad—the house vinaigrette and chunks of feta are incredible. It's a decent sized burger and tastes homemade in the best way. Would recommend 👍🏻
Runcible Spoon Egg Round review by Anna
I've been ordering this dish since college (about 7 years now) , and I won't be stopping anytime soon! It is the perfect breakfast/lunch item. I've ordered it in restaurant and to go and it is delicious every time. First, I love an English muffin. It's always soft yet substantial. Second, the Swiss American cheese they use is the *best* melty cheese ever! I love the flavor and how it compliments a runny egg. Speaking of runny egg, Runcible might be the only breakfast spot that consistently cooks my egg over medium. Sometimes I will order scrambled instead of over medium because lots of places don't fry an egg to where the white is completely set, but the yolk is still rich and runny. I always get sausage and mushrooms for my toppings (a little extra to get two but worth it!). The sausage patty is so flavorful and the mushrooms add a yummy earthy note (and they're sautéed so they're not watery). All together, it's a perfect little breakfast that is so satisfying but doesn't leave you feeling overly full. Paired with roast potatoes—with some ketchup and hot sauce—and you've got a meal that hits every time. Side note: Runcible is sneaky good at coffee and has the best cappuccino in town! Old school with lots of silky foam :-)
